by WorldTribune Staff, May 12, 2022

Mark Middleton is the latest close associate of the Clintons to suffer an early demise.

Middleton, a special advisor to Bill Clinton who allowed Jeffrey Epstein to visit the White House on several occasions and also flew on Epstein's jet "Lolita Express," passed away at age 59, according to a May 7 statement from his family which did not reveal the cause of death.

Middleton's death was announced in a now-deleted Facebook post for the family's Little Rock, Arkansas air conditioning company, Middleton Heat & Air.

According to a report by DailyMail.com, local law enforcement and the county coroner said they were not investigating the death and did not respond to it.

Several of Clinton's former associates have died over the years in unexpected circumstances, also known as the "Clinton Dead Pool."

In the 1990s, Middleton was a special advisor to Clinton and finance director on his presidential campaign.

During his tenure in the Clinton administration, visitor logs show Middleton admitted Epstein to the Clinton White House on seven of the at least 17 times the wealthy pedophile visited.

"Middleton also flew on Epstein's plane and appears to have acted as a conduit between the two men," the Daily Mail report noted.

The Daily Mail report continued: "Middleton left the White House in February 1995 and was accused of setting himself up as an international deal-maker, exactly the kind of person that would appeal to Epstein.

"In 1996 an investigation by the White House found that Middleton had abused his access to impress business clients and he was barred from the executive mansion without senior approval.

"Middleton denied the claims.

"A source has told DailyMail.com that some of Middleton's meetings with Epstein happened in room 176 which was in the old Executive Office building, not the White House.

"The source said that Middleton asked for a meeting room next to the White House mess, which was in the West Wing, so he could impress his guests with his proximity to the Oval Office.

"The source said: 'Mark was trying to make himself look bigger than he was. He was trying to make himself out like he had more power than he really did in the White House.

" 'Mark knew that Epstein was managing the money of Les Wexner,' referring to the billionaire founder of L Brands and Victoria's Secret.

"The source went on: 'The year 1994 there were midterm elections, Clinton needed money and Mark thought he could get some of Wexner's money.

" 'Mark wanted to set himself up as the guy who could bring in those kinds of big donors', the source said.
