On April 1, the election to fill an open seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court will be held.
Leftist billionaire George Soros is providing loads of cash in an attempt to buy the seat for Democrat candidate Susan Crawford.
If Crawford wins, a liberal-majority court is expected to redraw the state's electoral map which almost certainly will result in two districts flipping to Democrats in the 2026 midterms.
That would go a long way to derailing President Donald Trump's America First agenda, GOP strategists say.
With that in mind, Trump, Elon Musk, and Scott Presler are pushing hard to get out the vote for conservative Republican Brad Schimel.
Schimel emphasized turnout, saying “3.4 million Wisconsinites showed up to the polls to vote for president. We expect only 2 million to show up April 1. That means whichever campaign can best retain their voters from November will win in April.”
“Susan Crawford is backed by George Soros, and she’s not trying to hide it,” said Schimel campaign spokesperson Jacob Fischer. “If Crawford wins, she will force-feed her dangerous, Soros-backed agenda to the people of Wisconsin and wreak havoc on Wisconsin communities. We must stop Susan Crawford from destroying Wisconsin on behalf of Soros and the radical left.”
"We need to shout this from the rooftops — because what’s happening in Wisconsin could send shockwaves through the entire country. There’s an election coming up, and even if you don’t live in the Badger State, this one still matters to you. Big time," Revolver News noted.
"Scott Presler’s final warning should be the spark that lights a fire under every single Republican in Wisconsin. If we don’t turn out on April 1st and vote for Brad, we’re not just losing a court seat — we’re handing over two House seats to the far left, thanks to a radical Supreme Court remap plot."

Every conservative in America should be talking about the Wisconsin Supreme Court election on April 1st.
George Soros is trying to buy the Court, so liberals can gerrymander Wisconsin congressional maps & take the House in 2026. I’m shocked at how many people don’t care. — ThePersistence (@ScottPresler) February 26, 2025
Republicans currently hold 218 seats in the House, with Democrats holding 213 seats. New York Republican Rep. Elise Stefanik's seat was set to go up for grabs as she was nominated to be U.S. ambassador to the UN.
But Trump made a strategic move on Thursday to keep the current House majority intact by withdrawing Stefanik from consideration for the UN post.
Trump, in a social media post Thursday, wrote, “As we advance our America First Agenda, it is essential that we maintain EVERY Republican Seat in Congress.”
“We must be unified to accomplish our Mission, and Elise Stefanik has been a vital part of our efforts from the very beginning,” Trump wrote in the Truth Social post. “With a very tight Majority, I don’t want to take a chance on anyone else running for Elise’s seat.”
Trump did not announce who he would nominate for the UN ambassador slot.
But he wrote, “There are others that can do a good job at the United Nations. Therefore, Elise will stay in Congress, rejoin the House Leadership Team, and continue to fight for our amazing American People.”
